The benefits of being an elementary teacher

This is what Dave brought home yesterday from his students. Actually, there was more then this....two hearts full of chocolate and about five more of those Reeses and Snickers hearts. We ate our share throughout the evening. And yes....that gold thing in the back is a guitar molded out of chocolate from one of the parents.

Okay, who gave the Baked Lays, some kid who forgot his gift at home, and found what he could in his lunchbox?

Looks like Dave raked it in!

Aww, don't we miss those days in grade school where you traded those little valentines cards and boxes of conversation hearts? Those were the days!

Teachers aren't always spoiled...it all depends on the age. You must teach elementary ed if I'm not mistaken. By the time you hit high school, kids are lucky to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day I'm sure.

YUCK! I'm glad you threw it all away. I would have been sick...though I probably would have kept the Reese's pieces. And eaten the entire bag in one sitting...
