Way below normal...
...is what the painful and very boring test proved about my gall bladder on Monday. They gave me an IV that hurt like some very bad words, and then made me lie absolutly motionless for almost two hours while they sent radioactive materials into my organs and then an enzyme that made my gall bladder fill and empty. All the while a camera was so close to my stomach if I breathed in too deep, my ribs would touch it. The doc called today with the results. Normal gall bladders empty with the efficency of 30% and above. Mine empties at 11%. Explains the pain huh??!!??!! Next step is to have a surgical console with the doctors to "discuss our options". Oh boy.

Thanks for the update. Sorry for the bad news, but now you at least know what it is! Keep us posted!
It's a surgical "consult" sweetheart! A surgical "console" would be the monitors registering your vital signs during surgery! I guess that would be similar to "consult"!! Hey...maybe there's medication and diet that can rectify this...Review all options carefully and I'm here for you. How great to have a husband to support you during this time.
Love, Mom
We'll keep you in our prayers!! Love you!
owie!!!!! Not fun at all. I am so sorry you're going through this right now ... we will keep you in prayer, and keep us updated. (((hugs)))
A camera inside anywhere doesn't sound fun.
Good luck Karen. Hope the doctors can get you feeling right as rain, or whatever the expression is...
My wife and my mother are both gall bladder-free.
No biggie. You'll feel better.
