Our weekend house guest

Dave and I dogsat this weekend. Let me introduce you to Cooper, puppy of our friends Jared and Kate Mann. He is a Maltipoo (Maltise and Poodle mix) and was so fun to have around. He only weighed about 5 pounds, 7 wet, and he behaved so very well for a puppy. We only found one chewed up paperback book cover when we had to leave him home for a while alone. It was a small sacrifice if you ask me. And Dad, you're right, we aren't ready for a puppy yet, as cute as they are!

So cute! He and Roxie would be best friends, they're the same size! And yes, puppies are hard work, and they take discipline...it's a good thing Scott was so patient with training. It's very much like having a kid at first, sharing responsibility, learning to be consistent etc. But they're sure fun! =)

Puppies are fun to play with and then the relief of giving them back to their owners...it's kind of like nieces and nephews. :) Play with them, spoil and then say--ok, enough of that.

We have a cat we may be willing to part with. Read my blog today for the reason.
