In a rare turn of events, Calvin went right back to sleep after I fed him around 7 on Friday morning. Dave also slept in a bit (at my encouragement) and so I had a couple of hours to myself. Most new moms would have gone back to bed, but I'm still holding to the belief that I can be a mom and have a super clean house, so after I mopped the kitchen floor and cleaned the top of the fridge (it gets so dusty up there!) I did this...
All Clean!
This cabinet needed to be organized so that it could house all of the baby and toddler feeding supplies. So this is the before......
and the after. Notice that I have bottles on the bottom because that's what I'm using right now, and all the sippy cups, bowls, spoons, etc on the top since we won't be using them for a while. I think it's pretty efficient if I do say so myself!
The top shelf of the pantry is where most of the stuff from that cabinet needed to go to make room for the baby and kid stuff, but it wasn't in very good shape either. This is the before....And the after. I actually moved a few things into our storage closet in the guest room, like my big roasting pan that I only use at Thanksgiving, to give us some extra space.
Organization makes me happy and gives me a sense of order in my life when other things are crazy. Ya know...like when you have a three week old baby dependent on you for everything, it's nice to know exactly where your bottles and bread machine are :>).

Ok now...you're being way too efficient with your time. :-)
This cracks me up, only because it's exactly what I would've done too:) Okay, supermom. You have plenty of time to show the world your super powers. Remember to rest a bit too. You are just three weeks past giving birth. But I do have to say that I'm glad there's another mommy out there cut from the same crazy cloth as me;) Congrats on surviving (and thriving!) for the past three weeks:)
