Friday night was a shower given to us by our friends at churcn. It was held at La Madeline and was complete with coffee and french desserts. I think at the final count there were 25 people there! The room was decorated with blue and white star balloons to match some of the decor we had used in Calvin's nursery, all kinds of blocks, books and baby toys as center peices on the tables, and hanging on a clothes line were five custom made onsies from my sweet friend Leslie. We received multiple hooded towels, washcloths, bathing gear, clothes galore, and our baby swing! Something neat about the shower also....in lieu of cards, everyone included a book with their gift, so we also received many board books to start a great library for Calvin. Pictures below....

My four great hostesses...Miranda, Leslie, Amanda and Ronelle
The custome onsies that Leslie made....from left to right it's a dump truck, a monster face, a robot, a tie and a whale...So Cute!
the table and diaper cake.
Not the most flattering pics of me opening presents, but the best of the bunch. I seemed to have a severe case of sitting with my legs wide open that night...all the other pictures do not have the best angle....guess the belly was getting in the way.
Not only were the food and gifts incredbile, but Lauren and Brooke made some incredible decorations, many of which I will repurpose in Calvins room for decorations. Pictures below...
My besties and hostesses, Lauren and Brooke
My sister-in-law, Lydia, traveled all the way from Arkansas to attend the shower, and she brought my nephew, James. It was so so so great to see her.
Another great friend from college, Kati, and her four month old daughter Karlyn
Just some of the cute decorations that Lauren and Brooke created. There were blocks, initials, and stars everywhere to coordinate with the nursery.
I continue to be amazed at how the Lord gives us exactly what we need. at the exact time we need it. The bounty of blessings we received at these showers is proof that, no matter the need, the Lord finds a way to provide it. He tells us to ask, and we shall receive. I hope that all of my readers feel His blessings like we have over the past few weeks.
